Dirty Dishes
Ideas: Diorama of my mom doing dishes alone at a late hour, made to portray the unfair and suffocating expectations placed on mothers when it comes to raising a family.
Materials: Cardboard, Foamcore, Matboard, Acrylic paint, various types of glue, old plastic bits, beads, wire
Process: Quite a few steps, I took pictures of my kitchen and drew the layout, then I measured and sized the base pieces, assembled the base pieces and started adding the first set of details (cabinets), glued them onto the base and started painting everything, added beads and wire for detail and assembled the counter tiles (I literally made fake grout it took me forever). This is still incomplete which is why I dont have a finished photo, but I am working on it
